This training provides participants with an understanding of LGBTIQA+ identities and is specifically designed for multicultural and faith communities, highlighting how their involvement can foster positive change.

The purpose is to start the conversation to build awareness, challenge myths and stereotypes, and use a human-centric, compassionate approach to foster understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. This training offers practical tools and insights that empower participants to create more welcoming and inclusive environments within their communities.

  • Understanding the LGBTIQA+ terminology.

  • Exploring LGBTIQA+ identities across cultures. 

  • Building awareness of LGBTIQA+ acceptance that is culturally safe. 

  • Creating a pathway for inclusion based on existing cultural values and human rights principles.
