Intersectionality Training

This training will explore the concept of intersectionality and how it relates to the existing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies. 

​

We offer two options: 

 

3 hours Intersectionality Workshop:  

  • Exploring the concept of intersectionality

  • Understanding the intersections between power, privilege, and marginalisation

  • Intersectionality in the workplace

  • Reflective and reflexive practices

  • Practical intersectionality

​5 hours Intersectionality Training: 

  • Exploring the concept of positionality

  • Exploring the concept of intersectionality

  • Understanding the intersections between power, privilege, and marginalisation

  • Exploring the differences between the diversity framework and an intersectional approach

  • Examining current environment and systemic power structure

  • Identifying areas for improvement 

  • Reflective and reflexive practices

  • Practical intersectionality

 

We specialised in exploring the intersections between ethnicity, culture, and faith with LGBTIQA+ identities, and practical ways to create a safe and inclusive environment for multicultural and multifaith LGBTIQA+ communities.
